About the Authors

Kwong Chiew Ee was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London and a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Her main areas of practice are commercial and corporate disputes, restructuring and insolvency, and environmental, social and governance (ESG). She holds an adjunct faculty position at a Malaysian university, where she teaches international dispute resolution. She was named in the list of Asian Legal Business Malaysia Rising Stars 2022.

Chai Phing Zhou was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2020 and is presently empanelled as an Arbitrator with the Thailand Arbitration Centre. He has disputes experience in international commercial arbitration, corporate and commercial disputes, and construction adjudication.
 
Daniel Chua Wei Chuen was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2015 and Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2019, and practises as a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of London and a Master of Laws from University College of London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His main areas of practice are international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He holds an adjunct faculty position at a Malaysian university, where he teaches negotiation and international dispute resolution.
 
Aravind Kumarr was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London. His main areas of practice are corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency disputes, and commercial cross-border disputes. He has also been recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution category in The Legal 500 (Asia Pacific).
 

Melvin Ng Yet Ting was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple) in 2017 and as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London. His main areas of practice are commercial and corporate disputes which routinely involve cross border elements.
